A quick posture check

Many of us spend much of each day sitting. Particularly at the moment with so many of us working from home and setting up a workstation wherever we can find space and peace and quiet!

Poor posture while sitting can cause aches and pains and even temporary or permanent distortion of the spine. It can also contribute to tension in the back and neck muscles as we’re constantly hunched over our phones or craning our neck looking at our laptops or tablets.

On the other hand, good posture can improve our effectiveness, efficiency,

confidence, energy, physical and mental

wellbeing.

It may seem like a small thing to consider, but improving your posture can dramatically improve how you feel each day. Aim to spend as much of your day as possible in the correct positions illustrated here in green.
